Wok & Teriyaki House

Went on my lunch break at work at 1:30pm. They advertise on the bilboard menu "Lunch Special" which at any terryaki place means its discounted during lunch time. Yet, when i asked about it after she told me my total price, she said everything the same price. So thats false advertising #1. And then when i got in my car to start eating while i head back to work, there was a long black hair on my salad. Obviously i didn't get to eat that and not enough time to take it back. The terryaki was not fresh, unlike my boyfriend's whose pork teriyaki was steaming fresh and yummy, but not the chicken terryaki i ordered. Didnt eat that either due to it being warm and already cooked prior.

Wok & Teriyaki House (Aug. 10, 2023) This is my first visit after my daughter moved to Puyallup, and we were trying to find a value Asian restaurant to dine at. Arrival time was just after noon on a Thursday. The eatery was doing brisk business with takeout but seating is still available. Yes, there is cool air conditioning too! Daughter ordered the Teriyaki chicken and Katsu lunch combo special ($12.99), and I ended up with Bento B which consisted of Teriyaki chicken, 4 pieces of sushi, 2 pieces of shrimp tempura.and an eggroll ($14.99). Both orders came with a refreshing small salad as well. The former came out first, and my first impressions was it was large for a lunch special. The bento box came up shortly after, and was impressive as well. Taste-wise - The food tasted fine overall. I found the sushi was done very well. The Teriyaki sauce tasted good, the grilled chicken was a little tough. A general complaint was that some of the fried foods (Katsu especially) were over-fried to become a little tough and dry. The staff were kind and very efficient, and will even refill ice water to a half empty cup. Location serves Pepsi distributed products. Overall, this eatery rates 4 out of 5 stars. Despite some of the shortcomings, the meal is a great value, and definitely definitely worth the money. Combined with the lovely staff and the cool air conditioning of the eatery, I shall definitely return to try other things out of their extensive menu. Happy Eating !!!!

I've been eating here since I was a teenager. The same family works here and are always super friendly. The food is delicious, especially considering the amount you pay for it. Of course, for me, it's nostalgic. But I've introduced many a friend's to this restaurant, and none of them ever complained. It's conveniently placed right down the street from the main highways in the area.

Not good, do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere. Chicken katsu were hard and double deep fried, Teriyaki chicken cut too thick so the sauce doesn't mask up the chicken. Egg flower soup lacks flavor. The place is way too cold. The servers were attentive and polite. That's the only good thing I could think of. I'm never going back.

WOW! The people here were so nice. The food was fast. The portions were huge!! I gave it my all and only cleared a square of my plate. We'll be back!!
