West Pioneer Grill

Great small town feel cafe for a big appetite! Highly recommend you give this place a try! The customer set was excellent (a team of waitstaff, not just one assigned to you) and saw them helping one another out during a busy shift. The kitchen hit a home run with their smoked Gouda and egg burger and the kids burger was more than enough for my 10 year old. I had the classic Italian with grilled onions and it did not disappoint! Great job to the West Pioneer Cafe!

Terrible mixed drinks for nearly stadium prices but they do add a lot of thought to the drinks they do make. 9 dollar beers. I got a double vodka and I couldn't even taste liquor. The food is solid, but it's not as though it's better than Shari's, but it's consequent and chain places are not. It's nice to see a place serve a good breakfast all day. Chicken and waffles was saved by the side of sausage gravy. Lots of sausage in the gravy. I'd recommend breakfast at this place. General burgers are ok, but nothing memorable. Most everything was prepared well. Sick to basics/breakfast here and it's worth coming back. The chicken and waffles I had was rough and almost made me not fine back.

This was truly amazing. A rare gem these days for a great breakfast. Perfect poached eggs and sauce, meat was so so good and the Hash Browns were perfectly done. Brought home leftovers to share with spouse and they were also blown away with how good it was (and that was two days later!). There were four of us that came at noon and all left more than pleased with the quality and service!

The food was excellent, our server wS excellent. Tiny place, old but a do not miss for sure AND they serve breakfast anytime. Eggs Benedict was spot on, the chef knows how to make a poached egg, I was pleasantly surprised. Yay !

Very nice restaurant in downtown Puyallup. Had to wait a little on a Saturday morning because they're so popular! Tasty and affordable.
