This place is a little slice of heaven, in what they call “God’s country”. Traveling through for work, this place caught my eye so I stopped. Walking in reminded me of a place back home, country, old fashioned, wooden floors and all. I checked around at all the neat things, and grabbed a scoop of Perry’s ice cream, then sat out front enjoying the fresh mountain air. Sadly I was driving, but if I wasn’t, I would have enjoyed a cold beer in the “basement”, darn! Anywho, if you’re rolling through 827 in beautiful Potter County, you should definitely stop by for some ice cream, or more!
Ice cream is delicious. People are nice and knowledgeable. Gas isn't too expensive compared to normal places, on 8/15, Non-ethanol 90 octane gas was around 5 dollars a gallon, similar to other prices for non ethanol fuel.
Always stop when in the area at camp. Not the fanciest place or the place with the best food at the bar but it's an experience for sure. The little store that's attached comes in handy for buying a few things that you maybe forgot.
The staff are nice folks, we have been stopping here for years and years. When my mother was alive we would ALWAYS stop and get her Perry's icecream. Its the best! Great little shop. There is a small cash bar beside it as well!
Absolutely love this place. In an area as rural as this you need a one-stop shop like this. They have hunting and fishing gear, dry goods, a deli, and anything else you might need. When in God’s Country be sure to stop in for some ice cream or a chunk of wheel cheese. The owners and employees are top-notch. Always a friendly experience!
