Wayside Park

Me and my softball team go out here to practice often on weekends but its a first come first serve type of arrangement. Its usually occupied if you show up after 8 or 830am on weekends. Its fairly safe if you come with the guys but not necessarily a park you want to have a picnic or BBQ at. There is quite a few homeless people but mainly its a park for recreational drug use. The parking area is half alley and half open park but its being used as a shortcut for shady activities. A lot of baggies, needles and shredded articles of clothing is commonly found but again, I only go to get some bp or fielding with my team. Not the prettiest park but also not the worst. MLK park is worse. This one is fair to ok at best in the day. I wouldn't recommend visitation at night.

Water parks were on today and it was a warm day so me n my daughters went to enjoy the Water at the park

Nice park for family and friends ????. The only bad is that there were people drifting close to the area. Our family felt safe while playing there. Clean restrooms just make sure you take your toilet paper.

X MARKS THE SPOT!!! Love the round swing if I had one I would put it in my house and be on it 24/7. I am 34 ... lol but it's great for a mother with a babies and older children, mom and baby can sit in the swing and the other children can play. Also great way to get the teens where they can have there space but know what's up, they have 2 playscapes, separate seating area (great for teens) water park basketball court, baseball diamond, as well as tennis courts. Also the hood peeps be coo too mind there own if you mind yours and you ain't trying to start no trouble.

Grew up in the area. Son practices here. Baseball diamond always clear outside the seasons and the 5 on 5 hoop courts are pretty clean. Bathrooms are not for sitting. Sorry ladies. Lots of parking and great selection of toys. Outside of the bathrooms come and bbq.
