Upper Richbar Picnic Area

We came here on a gloomy peaceful day. It was so quiet and serene. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery. If you are scared of heights or get Car sick, make sure you drive slow on the windy roads and let the fast cars pass you.

I loved the place, resting in the shade of a tree, calm waters, sand, clear water, rocks that form a waterfall, oh delicious day. A day with friends and family, definitely to return and I have not yet said about the beautiful views of the mountain. Quiet and very beautiful place. Recommended 100% You pay $ 10 for a whole day of fun Pick up your trash please, please.

Super legit place would definitely go back again very clean please keep it that way So it is very easy to get lost over in these parts we were aboutCouple 100' from the car and felt like I was lost in the whole another world I can't wait to go backThere are so many things to do you can go kayaking you can go fishing hiking rock crawling RCBoats RC crawlers Feels good sometimes getting out of the city and honestly not too far I didn't realize I was in the Sequoia national forestIt definitely makes you feel small and I do recommend going into town and trying out the local breweryI did feel kind of weird when I walked in the like all the locals just kinda but then after that there's nothing but smiles

Very beautiful area! Water was chilly but perfect for this time of year

One of my favorite stops inside the canyon, especially since it marks the half way point. A quick walk down to the river is nice. Sadly, it is now a fee site ($10) and I can't say it's worth it. There is trash everywhere and the reeds are so overgrowth at the river, you can't even get your feet wet anymore.
