Passing thru from Florida and needed a park to let our son out of the truck. Great park for older and younger kids. Skate park and playground area. Lots of space, benches, and grills throughout the property. Restrooms on site. And plenty of parking. Watch out for the holes in the ground from the voles..

Great park, has benches, has a playground but no swings. Still great. Right next to the Playground is four table benches under a shade , at the corner there is a skatepark. Walking down the park which somewhat goes downhill there's two basketball courts. Plenty of trees and benches. Also parking spots. Only thing bad about this nice park is no restrooms. I believe there's portable restrooms but I will never recommend those that are there .

I go to use basketball court to practice shots just before it's closed. UPDATE: AFTER SCHOOL HOURS!! not safe for the Lil ones. The benches seem to be the weed spot. Smoking within distance of small children. Watched multiple families leave because the marijuana was overwhelming. And literally facing the probation office.. Did not get to use the courts.

Heritage park is a unique park due to it's vast spread. On one side that faces Juvenile hall you have a fairly new constructed skate park and this skate park always has kids and parents enjoying the site. Then you have the center of the park that has a deteriorating parking lot that seems to always have shady people parked inside their car's just hanging out here, and as you make your way more towards Bernard street you will notice there seems to be homeless people laying around, and sometimes even camping with tent's

Such a quiet and peaceful place to have a nice picnic, or family fun day. It's a pretty big park making social distancing easy. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the park needs some maintenance work done. Tables/benches had so much nasty buildup on them.
