Victoria's Restaurant, Bakery, and Boutique

Poor customer service. Ordered desserts for Christmas 7 days ago. Called today to check up on pick up time, was told to come before 2 pm. Showed up at 1:15 and was told they did not have my desserts due to the fact the delivery truck did not bring the items needed. They had all week and this morning to let me know but they did not. 2 days before Christmas and I am making my own desserts which will be better than store nought anyway. So much for a relaxing experience.

I wish I could meet Victoria herself (LoL), or alternately, if she's reading this, so I could express to her what a treasure of a place this is--something people who are not from outside of here might not realize...just how far and few in between places like this are: a down home style salt of the Earth vibe spot chalk full o'charm. Is it outdated as the day is long and showing its age? Yes. Does that characterize or take away from the experience any less? Not only no, but it enhances things in my opinion. Delicious southern food cooked and served from friendly staff (nice manners, even the bussers were hustling AND helping elderly patrons carry their trays to the tables!) in a jammed packed dining area (and parking lot)...esp the after Church crowd. I could people watch here all day long--everybody knows everybody there, a real locals' locale. I wish this place continued success and love seeing it supported over say a franchise establishment with a sterile environment. Thanks Vicky! P.S. would have taken more inside pics but did not see a single cell phone out much less being used the entire time during my meal and didn't want to ruin that vibe--again, a people place through and through which is very palpable.

I’m writing a review bc I feel obligated to warn other people. My husband was so sick the entire evening after eating here and we were on vacation so ruined some of our trip. I don’t understand how this place gets any 5 star reviews and isn’t shut down by the health department. The food was all bad! The cornbread was especially disgusting it was so dry it was unpleasant to even touch. The desserts looked good but even my children wouldn’t eat them. They tasted like condensed milk and basically nothing else. We paid $74 for our family of 4 and I feel like I was ripped off, it was so bad. Then place is so dirty and smelly. We didn’t see the attached hotel until we used the restroom and then again had to drive around back when we were leaving. It was so disgusting looking I started gagging just thinking of food that I ate being made in the same building. Whomever owns the hotel is a slum lord.

Great meat n 3. Catfish was great and veggies perfect. The desserts were like home cooking. Place was packed at lunch.

Had a GREAT LUNCH here, will be bringing guest on my next visit. LOVE A MEAT N THREE. WONDERFUL FOOD, HOT, TASTY, LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM. FRIE FISH IS SUPERB HIGHLY RECOMMEND ???? ???? ????
