We were in town visiting on October 7, 2023 and wanted some breakfast and this place was recommended. It’s a small mom/pops business located in an industrial area. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The waitress came to take our orders once we were seated. The food was good. I was a little skeptical because it was majority Caucasians. No I’m not racist. The food was good and it didn’t take long to get our orders. I would return and I would recommend.

It was our first time visiting here and I'm glad we chose it. When I'm on vacation, I love trying local, mom and pop restaurants for breakfast. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. My eggs and grits were perfect. Most importantly...the coffee was good and strong. I will definitely come back here next time we're in the area. Also, I noticed the menu options for lunch looked pretty darn good...I just might come back for lunch before we head out of town.

Server was doing her best but the cook wasn't great. Took about an hour for a simple order. Only 1/3 pieces of bacon were cooked. Asked for crispy bacon. Biscuits ran out I guess but wasn't offered anything different so after waiting just to get the food we had to wait on toast and only one piece was buttered. Great we can eat....nope there aren't any utensils on the table. I dunno if this was an outlier but probably won't be back.

I was in the area for business and wanted to find a local lunch place. I was seated quickly and service was quick and helpful. Waitress gave me daily specials and recommendations. I went with Fried Chicken, Mashed potatoes, Mac and Cheese and biscuit. All homemade for less than $9! For .50 more you get dessert - strawberry shortcake. All were very good and I couldn’t finish it all. What a value! I will be back!

I’m picky about my biscuits. These weren’t what I was looking for. I like brown lightly crunchy tops and bottoms that don’t crumble into pieces while you eat it. We got carry out and ate in the car luckily because they gave us someone else’s order. So I had to go back in and wait in line again after a brief stop at the door hoping the lady would recognize that I was back with the bag.
