Decent cheeseburger (caution! a large double will fall apart on ya'!) served up for $7.50 from down-to-earth friendly staff. Places probably pulls on the nostalgia heartstrings more than anything...will consider upgrading rating on subsequent visist as I come getba cool treat on a hot day. Scenic overlook (the river, not the highway!).

Tucked up next to the river, a traditional local roadside spot with covered outdoor seating. Good burgers and patty melts.

Good food . Good price vs. portion size. Nice area and seating outside. Only down side it is a cash only business. No cards accepted.

I had a friend referring & my husband loves Frosty Mug so we ride up here all way from Cullman occasionally.
