Uptown Grill

Came in for a quick bite and despite the lunch rush the waitress was still very attentive. I ordered a chicken fried steak with and appetizer of fried mushrooms. While waiting for the steak, I added the salad bar to my meal and it did not disappoint. There was a large selection of toppings and sauces to choose from. Then the chicken fried steak came out.... IT WAS HUGE.... It was the size of the plate and very crispy and crackly!! Unfortunately, through my best efforts I was not able to finish and had to get it to-go. Overall I love the family owned vibes, the food was great, and the service was amazing.

Good food, a little pricey. However, the service was outstanding! Young lady named Lazette served us. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

We loved it! Super sweet waitresses and food was fresh and tasty!! Will be back to try out the steaks next ti.e we pass thru!

Ordered the Chicken Parmesan with a side of baked potato with everything on it & it was delicious! Salad bar is awesome and has all the toppings! Staff is very friendly & food came out quick even though there was a lunch rush. Restaurant is family owned and you can see the owners in house working, engaging with the customers and making sure they are satisfied with the food & service.

I ordered the stuff shrimp with a baked potatoe and salad. The waiter came back and stated they did not have the stuffing to make the stuffed shrimp. So I decided I would have the fried shrimp instead. The fried shrimp is part of the lunch menu. When I asked the waiter if I could still have the baked potatoe as part of the order he went to check with his Manager. The Manager came and stated they no longer serve stuffed shrimp and if I wanted the baked potatoe it would cost me $2.99 extra. The Manager could have added the baked potatoe, it was his choice as is with any Manager. I disagreed with his poor decision and canceled my order. No thanks. Uptown Grill, you might consider updating your menu. If you no longer serve an item remove it.
