Preferida de Monterrey is my all-time favorite Mexican restaurant. it’s genuinely authentic—walking inside feels like stepping straight into Mexico, not a watered-down theme. from the outside, the bright pink building already sets the tone, and once you’re inside it’s colorful, warm, and full of personality. The artwork, bold pink walls, and details everywhere make it feel lively and welcoming. they’ve done a lot of updating over the years—fresh paint, brighter spaces, and even adding an ice cream/dessert-making area, which is such a fun touch and makes it feel like more than just a restaurant. amazing food, great service, and an atmosphere that feels authentic and joyful every single time.

I love the beef fajitas!!! I always get the same thing so can’t speak for the rest. Bring me some beef fajitas with cheese avocado pico jalapeños and green sauce and and I’ll give you 6 stars!!! Have to try it….

We ordered 5 mini Al Pastor tacos, a beef fajita torta, and horchata. They do not skimp on the meat! 10/10, we will definitely be stopping here every time we're in El Campo
