Umi Nails Spa

I came here because the reviews and the photos sounded like it was going to be a really good quality experience. My pedicure was pretty good, but my manicure is so sloppy. It was incredibly expensive but the cost did not match the quality at all. And the nail tech waited for the tip in a very expectant way so I felt obligated to do that. She was also ripping my cuticles so hard I’m surprised I didn’t bleed. It’s unfortunate that I just wasted 100$ for a manicure I don’t even want anyone to see.

I came here on 2/14 for the very first time and enjoyed it , i had some personal issues where i wasn't able to get a fill in for 3 months and i just wanted my nails to be removed. The young gentleman who did my nails did a wonderful job, he was sweet and funny and put a smile on my face which was needed after going through soo much. I ended up also getting a manicure which came out perfect. The gentleman knew i was going through something and he took extra care of me and its appreciated. I will be back!

I love umi since the first day I visited them. They always make room for appointments with little wait time, everyone is so great it’s hard to choose a favorite. They are always down for my crazy nail ideas and have a lot of options. This will be my nail salon as long as I’m in Long Beach.

Just moved to Long Beach and this salon may be the reason I never want to move! Lillian was so friendly and paid attention to detail. Truly a relaxing experience. Reasonable prices.

The nails look ok however my cuticles have been rubbed raw with the Emory board. I did speak to them they told me I “should be careful next time” We’ll I told them there “will not be a next time!”. I’m hoping I won’t develop an infection.
