Twister's Diner

Thoroughly enjoyed this little hidden gem of a restaurant!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the Southwest Burger with tots and it was phenomenal!!! My wife had the hot roast beef sandwich with Mashed potatoes and fried okra and she really enjoyed it, however it only had one slice of bread, so not really a sandwich. For desert I had a banana split Twister and my wife had a turtle sundae and it was the perfect ending for a delicious meal!!! Kaitlyn was our server and she was fantastic!!! The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable and everything was extremely clean. Definitely worth going off the beaten path to have an incredible meal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

I have been going here quite a bit recently for breakfast. The french toast is awesome. I love gravy and biscuits but the first time, the biscuit was so hard, I couldn't even cut it up with my fork. Now the last 2 times I have ordered it, there is way too much black pepper. I know everyone loves peppered gravy, but this is just overkill. I'll stick to French toast from here, and when I want gravy, go elsewhere.

We actually eat here all the time. We usually get it to go and bring it home. We invited several friends of ours to join us this evening and went into the restaurant and we had a very pleasant experience. Our service was excellent. The food of course was great! I believe we had chicken fried steak, omelette, a burger and a couple of the hamburger steak dinners all the way. Everybody enjoyed everything! I particularly enjoy eating here because the food is homemade and not processed. Special diet here so that really helps. Highly recommended!

Another Knoxville gem nestled in the outskirts. An almost country diner feel. First visit in a little while. Huge improvements have been made to the inside and the food. Large selection of appetizers, sandwiches and includes breakfast! Great selection of tasty ice cream sundaes. During our most recent visit, tables were cleaned several times and the random table we chose was very clean as well. Restrooms are available and are kept clean. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Everyone seems to enjoy working at this location. Prices are very good for the proportions of quality food and service we experienced.

The ice-cream sundaes were great. Large selection and size options. I didn't get to try a meal but the burgers looked delicious. Definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood.
