The Odd One Out

First visit ever and really enjoyed it. Lovely ambience with all the candles lit and it was very clean and tidy with no clutter. The Ladies toilet was gleaming! I was so impressed! Great service from Lesley who loves working there. My Partner thoroughly enjoyed his pint! Definately going to go back!

Wonderful pub, one of my favourites in Colchester. Wonderful land staff and generally Wonderful vibes. Great alcohol selection, very reasonably priced and locally brewed ales. The beer garden is a surprising anomaly as you wouldn't expect it to be tucked away behind a seemingly small pub, from an outside perspective.

Our absolute favourite local. Love to come down and enjoy your beautiful garden with a tasty selection of ales. All the staff are friendly and feel like family. Very dog friendly too. Still great prices!

This pub doesn't look much from the road, in fact most of the time I have walked past it looks closed...! Much brighter when you go in, and loads of choice of drinks. There is a garden area at the back with a few benches, and with it being at the back of the pub, it hides a bit of the road noise.

They don't do food. Absolutely amazing pub. Tom and Bex who run it are a fantastic couple. So many different events going on there, and a wide range of people who go to the pub. Excellent garden space as well. Highly recommend.
