Hole in the Wall

Haven't eaten here for a long while, but no complaints from memory. Been visiting here for over 20yrs now! Great little place for a drink, but personally I prefer it when it's a bit quieter. Cool pub that gets quirkier the more you look!

Laid back, local pub. Good staff, good prices, fun events such as poker/pool nights

Really liked this place although it was empty. Lovely feel to the building you can almost sense the history. Some exposed parts of the Roman wall have been made into a feature. The balcony area has some nice views too much to my surprise. I'll be popping back in here.

They have just started doing Pie, mash and liquor! Very generous portions for a very reasonable price. I’m fussy about mash, and this was smoooth! I had the vegetarian option with a lovely parsley sauce. Tasty! Meat and vegan options are available. Also, a great pub, locals and staff are super friendly. I will be back for a meat fix soon!

Lovely pub if you want to go out and talk. We like to meet here before we go dancing or a pub crawl because it's quiet but not boring. They often have live music but the music is a little dated.
