The Frontier Bar & Grill

I'm a very picky meat eater. I almost never order a steak when out to eat because I'm particular and don't like any fat on my steak. I trim steak with the precision of a surgeon. The sirloin I had at Frontier was one of the best steaks I've ever had at a restaurant. Cooked perfectly, no fat at all. I've never before eaten a whole steak at any restaurant EVER.

You know the song that says "I love this bar. It's my kind of place." That's ME and the Frontier. I love the burgers, I love the appetizers (especially chili cheese tots). Great coleslaw, too. I love the pool leagues they host. But, I love the people, most. The new ownership has radically and dramatically changed the Frontier. Daniel, Brady and team are top notch. Come once as a stranger, you'll leave as a friend, excited to be back really soon!

Great small town atmosphere friendly staff great prices and great food

When you walk in you get that small home town bar feel. It has a smaller than normal menu, but everything tasted great. We ordered carryout and when we got back to the hotel the food was still really warm. We are planning a return trip to the area and will make this place a definite stop.

Wonderful find on the edge of Custer. Had the General Custer burger and my wife had the beer battered cod. Both were cooked just right. The burger had a great smoky char flavor. The onion rings and tots were nice and crispy.
