Wow. Just wow. First, Cindy was just incredible. She kept our glasses full and took care of every request with a big smile on her face. The burgers were exceptional! We will be back.

Everytime I come here its like being back home at a neighborhood tavern. Friendly atmosphere, nice food choice, GREAT BURGERS & Sweet tator fries, simple drink choices that help keep a steady pace. The servers are friendly here too. I do miss the pool table though ( dang covid craziness! ) Beer, Wine & Coolers here, NO HARD LIQUOR.

Perfect medium rare and tastes great, good job! Update: we have tried almost every burger in the area now and this one is still the closest to perfection you can get, made exactly the same everytime without error.

The Back Forty is truly a staple of Mountain Home. They have been around for 35+ years and are STILL cranking out great food. Their 1/2lb burgers (Barnbuster) are great, and their 1' chili cheese dogs are awesome. If you're not from Mountain Home area, you must stop in and give it a try. FYI They recently switched to cash and local check only. They have an ATM inside if you need it.

My wife had a delicious hamburger, and I had a pretty good foot long chili dog. All the chili dog needed were some cole slaw and fresh chopped onions, which would have made it a Carolina Dog. Hint, hint. The service was excellent. We'll be back.
