El Herradero

My wife and I don't get an opportunity to dine here often but it is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food and lots of choices. It also doesn't break the bank to eat here. This is our favorite date night spot.

Absolutely disgusting. Ground beef tastes like it has a hint of McCormick taco seasoning with a gallon of water added in. So greasy you can't even pick up the taco without it falling out. Texture is like sand. Got 3 tacos and couldn't even eat them. Got a kids beef burrito and it has chunks of carrot in it? Super weird. My kid hated it. Salsa was bottom of the barrel, watered down from the juices at the end of a batch. So much for Mexican food.

Best Mexican food in town. Let me preface by saying I am from Arizona and grew up with good authentic Mexican food. I have lived in the dreaded north for the past 10 years and I rarely find a decent Mexican place to eat at. This place is the closest I have found to the authentic stuff down in Arizona that I miss so much. I am so glad there is a place luke this in town. Also the service and the staff are amazing and the prices are decent.

Asked for a recommendation and was directed to the most expensive burrito on the menu. 10/10 hands down. Smart. Make the best the most expensive! Service wasn’t the best could definitely improve. Food was the best I’ve found in mountain home as far as Mexican food goes. Weird to get carded twice by two different people. Out of most of all draft beers but made up for it with an ipa!

Extremely well done food, service was excellent and friendly, the place was clean and inviting. A bit on the pricier side, but big portions and worth it from what I got. Chili relleno was amazing, and the chalupa was bigger than expected. Rice was very soft and supple with tons of flavor.
