Sahuayo Mexican Restaurant

Really great option for some solid Mexican (not Tex Mex) in Louisiana. Hard to find good options in this state. Ordered a Gordita and 4 tacos. Everything had great flavor. The salsa that comes with chips is petty average, but the green taco salsa is on point. Good level of spice and very tasty. Service was friendly.

As a California transplant, I have been desperately looking for this food! Everything was perfect, delicious, and outrageously affordable for a family of 5. We will be returning! Thank you so much to the attentive and kind staff.

OMGoodness! Authentic tex-mex cooking. Everything was fresh and beautifully cooked. Mmm Cold salsa! Homemade tortillas. The prices are on point. The service with a smile was nice. The menu is in Spanish and English. Daily lunch specials are printed on the front of the menu. Definitely recommend this eatery.

The restaurant is well decorated and very clean. The food that I had was awesome and we got it to go. The store which is located next door on the corner has plenty in stock. Some fresh vegetables and a nice deli are located inside. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Definitely worth a visit for anyone craving authentic cuisine!

Stopped by for dinner, and it was great. Im from Houston, and the food here was authentic. We we're a party of 10 and they quickly arranged tables for us. The food was delicious, and for being such a large parry with different dinners, no one waited for their food. Service was on pp notch. Highly recommend if you're ever in this little town.
