S & H Good Eats Cafe

Definition of a "hole in the wall". We were looking for a local breakfast place on the way to New Orleans and am glad we went with this place! Everything we got was delicious and beyond reasonably priced. We paid maybe half the price of what we would've spent at a chain restaurant for more and better food. It's not fancy by any means. A bit small, but the number of cars and people waiting for a table speaks for itself. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area or driving through.

So it was our first time stopping here, wanted something on the way to Nola. Kinda was taken back by the outside appearance but please don’t judge, food was Really good and crazy low priced compared to other places. Service was great and I would definitely be back!

I came here with my dad on May 27th for lunch. I had been here a few times before and gotten their breakfast and it has always been a good experience. Since I decided to get a lunch menu item this time, my dad had recommended the roast beef poboy so that’s what I got. To preface this, I don’t like my poboys dressed, I like meat and gravy only on my roast beef poboys. When this is what was delivered to my table I was shocked. Yes I asked for the poboy to not be dressed, but I didn’t think that would mean I’d get almost no meat… I ate the roast beef without the bread because let’s be real, there’s not nearly enough meat on there to constitute an actual sandwich. The beef tasted good and had great flavor but I was finished in 3 bites. I left very unsatisfied and still hungry. I’m sad because I’ve really enjoyed this place in the past but unfortunately won’t be back anytime soon.

Whenever we go on vacation, we always try to find a local place for breakfast on our last day before we head home. Today we stopped at S&H Good Eats Cafe. It's a small place that you can tell has a big heart. The food came out quickly, and was delicious. The price was beyond reasonable. If I was a local, I would definitely be a regular here.

What an amazing place! The food was awesome. This has to be some of the best home cooked food from a restaurant I have ever had in my life. I travel often and I have been to almost every state in the union and hands down this is some of the best food in America. If you are ever in the area this has to be on your to-do list.
