Riverside Park

Boatnik is always an event. The place was crowded and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Not too many strange beings wandering around. The young people manning the gate to the handicap parking area were wonderful. They spent a long day there. Of course, funnel cake just had to be bought! Same people serving it for many years. They graduated to a bigger trailer this year. Then it started to sprinkle and the drag boat race was canceled until tomorrow.

I LOVE this beautiful park! I take my dog there almost every day and we really like how well it is kept up. It's big enough to have a interesting and lengthy walk. Parking is wonderful, there are numerous of ways to enter it.

A very large roomy park to take the family or meet on a play date. The public restrooms are one of the cleanest I have been in, the playground is huge, lots of seating, plenty of parking and just an absolute beautiful setting right on the river! The only down side is no dog park.

Great park! Very big playground. Our kids love it!! The big downside is seeing tents & homelessness in the park. We didn't feel safe there and didn't dare to stay long even though our kids were having a lot of fun.

Once the gem in the crown of Tree City USA Grants Pass Park system, kids have played here and brought their own kids here years later, for generations. But but so much now. It is basically a beautiful, Albeit somewhat dangerous, local free campgrounds with amenities and access to downtown within minutes walk. If your tired of paying at the county parks, come lay claim to a spot in beautiful Riverside Park . It's it's especially magical in the early evening just around sunset when dying light glimmers off of the used syringes in the field of view, it's like a blanket is glittery Stars laid out before you, marinated with hepatitis C and whatever else is in there, but don't take my word for it go see and report back, I'd like to know your thoughts.
