Red Onion Drive Inn

My fiancé grew up eating at the Red Onion and wanted to try it again, they did not disappoint! Their food was fresh, crisply fried and just incredible! I had the jalapeño burger, it had plenty of jalapeños and bacon! My fiancé had their walleye chips and mini tacos and they were amazing (I stole some) they were well seasoned and fried perfectly! They are very reasonably priced as well.

The price and quality of the burgers do not match at all. I don't understand where so many good reviews come from???? my husband and I came here to try the food because there were so many good reviews. We ordered two burgers, California and Germany, and two milkshakes. It cost us about $30. The cashier was a very unfriendly schoolgirl. We waited for our order for about 20-25 minutes. Then they served us our order - and it looked like burgers from a gas station, buns from Walmart, the Germany burger just contained sauerkraut, but for some reason it cost a lot of money when it cost no more than $3. Maybe this is really the only good place in Belgrade, but we were upset by this meal. In fact, for this price you can sit in the Fox Hole restaurant, where you really understand that you are paying for high-quality, tasty food in a great atmosphere, rather than eating a burger at a street stall, cooked in an incomprehensible kitchen by schoolchildren. Or at least go across the street and order pizza at the gas station, which will be much tastier and not at all more expensive. I give the second star for good milkshakes, that's the only positive.

Don’t normally review eateries but the Red Onion really deserves a good review. We really enjoy finding these small town places with great food and terrific service. Definitely worth the stop.

The Red Onion is such a vibe! Good food at cheap prices. I feel like I’m living in an 80’s movie in small town America when I eat here. It embodies small town life in the best way. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great burger and even BETTER cheese curds!

Excellent place to eat, old school 50s type drive inn place only open in the summer months. I go here as much as possible, the closest you'll get to cooking at home with way less hassle. I highly recommend this place as a must stop.
