Service was fine, the waitress was prompt and friendly but the haddock just wasn't as good as it used to be. At one point they had the best fried haddock of the five area places where we tried it, now they rated on the bottom. This batter frying technique just didn't work for them and we thought the oil was probably old. The new menu is limited but they kept they kept most of our favorites. Would go back next time we are in that area and hope for better food next time.
Cute little diner. Wasn't bad but got the breakfast buffet. Wasn't refilled and tasted like it may have been sitting there for awhile. I gave it a 4 star because it was a cozy little place, full of locals, and I'm guessing if we got the breakfast made to order it would have been great. So 2 for buffet, 4 for guessing :)
My wife and I have been going there for years. Great food and wonderful waitresses and waiters that treat you like family as it's a family owned restaurant for many years. Joan is a real Sweetheart who is pretty busy in the kitchen will take the time to say hi to people when she steps in the dinning room. All around great place to go to eat. Don't forget about dessert if you have room or maybe just get it to go ????.
Came for breakfast. Home fries were still hard, bacon was undercooked too. Asked for very well-done egg whites and asked waitress to recook twice. Still came back slimey!! Eggs came back to our table after we were finished with our meal cuz waitress didn't bother checking on them. Coffee and toast were good though.
Arrived with a party of 5 for breakfast and waited to be seated in a half empty dining room for nearly 5 minutes. Not so much as a word from anyone until someone finally got us some menus and haphazardly pointed to a table. At that point it was as though we no longer existed. No one even stopped over to say "we'll be right with you" but somehow they found time to serve nearly every other patron in the building, even those who were seated after us. We waited a full 15 minutes without so much as a word from any of the staff before walking out. Abysmal.
