Had a great lunch here. My roast chicken plate lunch with rice & gravy, cabbage & cornbread were excellent. My husband said the BLT was just right & the chocolate cake was heaven. We arrived about 10:30 AM & by 11:15 it was starting to get lively, so plan accordingly.

Stopped in for the lunch plate. Atmosphere and people we're really nice. For the meat, I got 2 chicken legs. Wife got the salmon patties. Kinda small helpings for me. Good place to go in, and sit down to eat. Think next time I may go with a sandwich, or a burger.

We came by Tuesday, too late for lunch..food was all gone! Went by again today, early!! Offerings for todays plate lunch was smoked chicken, hamburger steak or Spaghetti. Choose 3 sides..all for $10.95. Oh my goodness! The sides were excellent and the smoked chicken was very good. We ordered the greens, squash and Italian green beans. All were deliciously seasoned. We'll be back!

I’ve been up and down Highway 65 through Dumas for decades and never knew about this place. I lucked out and found it this trip. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was fabulous. Order at the counter, grab a seat and enjoy. I will be back during my next trip.

Love the food and staff. Felt like home working out of town. Thank's pickens keep up the good work hope to visit agan!!!!@@@@!!!!
