I’ve been going here for a long time now. They are pretty much constant. They make a lot of the dishes like back in Jamaica it’s authentic to taste. They are cash only so can’t do cards

Delicious oxtail and rice. Nice and sweet and tender and good portion. Only downside is the blaring music for dinning in and the standoff service as if they are disinterested in you even when you want to inquire about food. Cash only, they have ATM inside but fees are obscene so stop by your local bank before hand.

This place was recommended to me as one of the best jerk chicken in Brooklyn and I decided to give it a try. First of all, I couldn't not believe in this day and age a restaurant only accepts cash! Make sure to walk with cash if you do decide to try. Overall the jerk chicken was decent but a bit salty, I'm from Florida I've had better jerk. Rice and peas was really good, fried plantain was too thick and not fully riped and steam cabbage I enjoyed.

I stopped by Peppas on Utica and Sasha was very pleasant and everything was going good until the part where you ask for sauce for your food and the guy with the bleached skin start charging you a dollar for barbecue sauce and jerk sauce because you asked for extra when he only gave me 2 for a large jerk chicken and and a medium jerk chicken dinner. Food was dry with no gravy and I asked for gravy and tried to check if they put gravy but he snatched the container back and said there’s gravy on it. He needs to be at a car wash not a restaurant dealing with peoples food. He ruined the experience with his nasty attitude.

Food was really good. We had jerk chicken, rice and peas, steamed cabbage and plantains. There were a lot of patrons but the service was fast. Cash only.
