O'Leary's Public House

My husband and I were in Chicago for a trip and needed a place to watch the Packers. This was perfect! The staff was great, especially Liv!

As Steelers fans, we're always down to enjoy a game with anyone playing the Bengals, Browns, or Ravens. We enjoyed a win against the browns at Hopsmith and made the decision to check out O'leary's for the Packers/Bengals game. However, after walking the distance, we discovered that O'leary's is a bit discriminatory against non-Packer fans. Initially, we were turned away by a guy at the front stating it's a "private party" however, when asked again he stated "this bar is just for packers fans"... last I checked, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. No wonder packers fans have a rough reputation around town.

I was in Chicago for 2 days and this is the by far the best bar in Chicago. The owner is a Washington Commanders fan and he makes sure the Commanders win if you come here. The bartender is awesome because she sings Ke$ha and Burger King commercials during the commercial breaks to keep the vibe going. They let some Eagles fans inside, but that's OK.

I had cranberry and vodka and he had an anti- hero draft beer. We got service right away. The vibe was very relaxing and fun. They do have food. the people next to us ordered a burger and fries and it looked good. I definitely want to come back and try their food. They have outdoor seating and a bunch of tables inside.

The “owner” Jim was a rude and verbally abusive person. There were no other customers and he told us to leave because we didn’t want to sit at a different table. He shouted for us to leave or he’d call the police. He almost hit my friend. Because of the table choice? Will never go back. We hadn’t ordered even a drink.
