On 29 July we decided to go on a bar crawl and this was our first stop. The roof top looks very damn cool, they have their signature drinks with are worth to try. Ohh!! Their ice cubes...???? It has a flower in the middle and the cocktails looks awesome with that ice in it. They have both interior and exterior seating, good place to go out with a girl for drink.
Amazing view, awesome drinks and delicious food considering they only serve small plates and menu is just one page. We ordered about 6 items. Everything was Amazing. Their fish dishes are so fresh and flavorful, you would love it if you like fish.
Apogee was an excellent choice for my 35 birthday. The view is breathtaking anytime of day. The drinks were blended to perfection. The dj was playing all the jams and the atmosphere made everyone feel sexy and fun. The outdoor fire pit was awesome. This place is very picturesque. It's great for special occasions, family night, girls night, guys night, Anniversary, or just to chill and think with a drink. It's a must see gem in Chicago
Ok, the updates to this place are nice. The outdoor area is so much better with the heat vents and the full bar outside. But, lets be honest. The best part of the bar is the bathroom hall. You guys. The lighting in here is PERFECT ???????????? never got a bad photo in here. After taking these shots i was asked to take 5 more for different people watching lol. Back to the drinks... There are some fun and yummy summer drinks. It's a nice place. I would have given it 5 stars if they had better music. I swear they play a really boring electronic CD from 2008. Check it out though. It was decent.
Me and some friends were in the city for the night was told by some folks this was a nice bar to check out. We were met at the door by a greeter whom had to buzz us up to the rooftop bar which let's you know that this isn't your average bar. The views beautiful, atmosphere was great and the DJ kept the party going. The location alone let's you know the drinks prices will be over priced but I must say $8 for a shot of Svedka is crazy especially since it's not a top shelf of no bar in America so over price is a understatement so be prepared. The staff was nice and the mixed drinks were nice looking but at least the 2 drinks I ordered was not tasty maybe they didn't meet my taste pallet. So I ordered shots of Tequila which totaled $74 for 2 rounds 4 shots each round which wasn't bad. I knew coming in that this would be a bar that you are paying for the scene not the drinks which was fine by me but the prices did cause some patrons to leave without ordering a drink which is never good for any business. My biggest complaint is that the service was slow and again why is Svedka on the menu of such a establishment and why in the world if that is suppose to be the bottom of the barrel why is it priced like it's a good vodka cause it's not. Also the out door bar closed at 12 which is crazy and quickly thinned out the crowd to about a 1/3 of what it was. Besides that I would recommend going but I couldn't say I loved it due to those issues.
