American Airlines Flagship Lounge

My first time in a Flagship lounge heading to Lisbon. Very nice. Not as crowed as the Admirals lounge and the food was really good. Serve yourself bar was really great . I love to plane spot did it all day long.

Good size lounge with a range of self serve beverages (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). Lovely views across the airfield and a range of different seating. Not all seats have power points but those that do seem to be on the right hand side of the lounge when entering. A few wireless charging points on tables (but not all). There is a limited buffet which is all that really let's the lounge down, a greater range of food would be great. The morning offering was ok but a strange combination of spicy elements to them, which may work well for others, so a 5 star rating may work for you. I've only removed one star because the food was not to my personal taste. Lounge was clean with regular table clearing and friendly staff. Please check you are eligible for lounge access as not all will be for this specific lounge.

This lounge really has a premium feel to it! Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered a glass of champagne, which was a nice touch. The lounge was spacious and well lite with natural light. Additionally, it was quiet and relaxing and not busy. The food selection was varied and really nice, from relatively fresh sushi, oysters, salad and cheese bar, to warmer items like gratin and goujons. One of the best lounges we've been to thus far.

As far as US-based carrier lounges in the US go, this probably is one of the best ones. It had good hot food selection that was pretty decent. Lounge was quite spacious with multiple zones and amenities (and not too crowded). Champagne is offered upon arrival which is a nice touch.

Food is great as in American lounge standard. Plenty of hot food which surprisingly taste actually not bad! Great view to the apron; lots of chairs and spaces for passengers to rest and work.
