Nutcracker

Chicken was over cooked, dry, and tough. Mac salad was a generous portion but the noodles were dry as if they sat around for an extended period exposed. Server was nice and friendly. Floor had a slick spot under the table as if it hadn't been mopped well. Wouldn't be interested in dining here again.

This is a homey family run place. Large portions. Dessert case. People are super friendly and there are regulars who eat there once a week. Menu is varied so kid and adult friendly. Prices are reasonable and you can get soup and sandwich or breakfast all day if you aren't super hungry. Smaller portion menu of regular meal choices available on back of menu. Great for seniors. Plenty of parking and handy location right on a major road in Webster. Fish fry every Friday, but they serve seafood meals every day.

I have never been treated so badly by a waitress in my life. I worked in food service for many years myself, I never treated a customer with such disrespect. She pushed us out of the way to get our plates and dishes. She kept making nasty comments about how my 1 year old is messy, and how she never would have allowed her kids to eat sloppily. I am also clearly pregnant, but if she would have brought out a broom I would have gladly swept up under the table for her and done her job. She was unpleasant every time she brought us our food, we traveled over an hour to come here to visit with my husbands grandma, and I left so upset and frazzled. They will never get mine or my families business again.

It was okay.. there were a few basic things that came with our meal that were just forgotten. The only weird thing was that the staff were complaining about the tips they were given. I normally wouldn't say that it's weird because I totally understand that frustration, but it was loud enough for us to hear it and loud enough to make us a little uncomfortable. Might just have been a me thing.

I will go back to try it again but they were busy because it was fish fry and I understand that but what I don't understand was that we were waiting for a table they had on clean but the waitress told who I think he was the manager that the guy behind us is going in her area because he wants her. So we got to a small table and there were four but I'm a plus size woman and I don't like tight areas. Then the waitress we got was okay but my boyfriend didn't get his sides from the meal he got and changed for the onion rings and never got them. But the food was good.
