New Hong Kong Restaurant

If i could do 0 stars i would. Server was very nice tho. Food was bland with no flavor, no lables so no idea what certain things were. Really greasy and over cooked fried foods. Tried a little of almost everything so I could give it a chance. Crab ragoon so over cooked, couldn't taste anything due to not being able to bite it. And to top it off a roach was in my sprite under the ice???? they took 25% off bill

This place brought back memories. I left home (waycross) almost 12 years ago. I came back recently to visit and decided to have a taste of nostalgia. It’s been 15 years since I visited this restaurant, and nothing has changed. (Well maybe the employees of course) The food was okay. In Houston, where I lived, the Chinese buffets were a lot worse and more expensive than the New Hong Kong. I could easily eat here again. Thanks for giving me a memory of history (:

Server was very sweet but I would NEVER eat here again! I regret not taking photos of the dried out food on the Buffett! We just ate there at 5:30pm on a Thursday evening! The WonTon soup had literally 3 wontons in the whole big pot and the egg drop soup had an inch thick dried goopy looking mess on the surface as if it had been sitting there all day! I bit into a chicken wing and had to run to the bathroom wrenching to puke because it was literally ROTTEN CHICKEN! The lady who took our payment was nice, she said the manager was checking the chicken but I already saw her come get a sample 10 minutes before we paid so she had to know they were serving rotten food and they never took it off the Buffett. Do yourself a favor and skip this one! I pray I don’t end up with food poisoning! ????????????

My meal cost less than $10, so it's a great value. The General Tso's combo is delicious, and their pork fried rice is the best in town.

My wife and I are new to the area. We were looking for some sushi for dinner. After looking at their website we decided to head over. What a mistake. They don’t offer sushi even though its in the website the buffet was not that attractive, I had know idea what I was putting on my plate, and all the food was bland and had no flavor. The restaurant was clean and the staff were attentive when you needed your drink full also, the price was pretty decent. I will say that my stomach was tore up for a couple days though so be mindful. I’m pretty sure that was my one and only time eating there.
