Nanny's Country Kitchen

I absolutely love Nanny's Country restaurant! I'm a regular here because the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and I always leave satisfied. It has a wonderful family atmosphere, and they treat you like part of the family. The staff gets to know your name, which adds a personal touch to the dining experience. The food is great, the service is top-notch, and the prices are reasonable. It's clear that this is a family-owned restaurant, and their commitment to creating a welcoming environment is evident. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a place where you'll feel like part of the family while enjoying delicious food.

First off, this is a little Mom and Pop greasy spoon restaurant... And that is both a very good thing, and a not so good thing... It was a little bit grungy, maybe not as clean as you would like... But that is something that you get from these kind of places... And that's kind of part of the ambiance of places like this We went for the fried Catfish... My wife and Father in law LOVED it... I tried it and it was probably the best fried Catfish I have ever had... It was THAT good. That being said, I had ordered the grilled chicken breast, and the cook messed up my order. Everyone else had finished their food by the time I got my order.. BUT, again, the food was excellent.. Another drawback, the cook was the only one who could run the register, so we had to wait to pay for our meals. Overall, almost exactly what you could expect from a place like this... Wonderful food... But with a few drawbacks otherwise.

Omg. I knew it was going to be good, with a name like Nanny's, but that was amazing!! Thank you all so very much for that awesome experience. The chicken casserole was great, not to mention the greens and taters and gravy. I'll be seeing you folks again real soon!! Please support your local shops, they put more pride in all they do!!!

This was like eating in my Granny's kitchen. From the quality of food and portion size to the friendliness of the staff. It was such a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely stop in again the next time we are in Elizabethton.

Good country cookin. Service was amazing. Very kind people. My only x would be it smells a little like stale cigarette smoke. Just keep that in mind but go for the cookin cause it’s yummy!
