Lakeo Steakhouse of Japan Express

This place is excellent! I moved to Elizabethton from Johnson City and couldn't find a restaurant to replace my favorite Japanese steakhouse Yamato. To be honest I didn't find any Asian food in Elizabethton that really satisfied me until I tried Lakeo. They have rapidly become my favorite restaurant here and I eat there about once weekly. I get the chicken teriyaki with mushrooms and sweet carrots and it is always delicious especially with a sizeable portion of mushrooms since they're an additional add on that I can't go without. Their spring rolls are also exceptional, crispy and flaky with tender cabbage, onion and carrots inside. The experience is always consistent and though it's drive through only, the food stays plenty hot enough to drive home or eat near the covered bridge park!

my bf and i tried the regular chicken and fried rice monday, and it was so delicious and a great price. we decided to come back tonight and try the beef noodles and veggies, and once again, it was FANTASTIC and a great price. it’s not greasy, has tons of flavor, and the sauce that comes with it rocks too! drive thru is convenient and the staff is so kind. 10/10 recommend.

Ask if they had sesame chicken they said yes we do so I ordered it...... Got grilled chicken and rice with carrots.. ask for red sauce got idk what I will not be going back and not recommend it to ANYONE

Literally the past 4 times we've tried to get this during normal business hours you guys are closed!!!! Getting ridiculous, how about staffing the express when you're out with the food truck?! After SIX WEEKENDS of no one being there we finally got it today. Salad was brown, rice wasn't fully cooked, the only thing y'all didn't eff up was the carrots because im assuming they come out of a can. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Was behind this truck and trailer on the road for twenty minutes. I’m unsure if the driver was drunk, texting, or had never driven a trailer before. The trailer was over the center line on the opposing traffic lane more than half the time. It was scary.
