Monroe's Hotdogs & Billiards

I grew up in this town and was coming to Monroe's when it was a pool hall with pickled eggs and beer. Prices are okay and the dogs are edible. Staff was friendly young teenagers and cleanliness was just okay. Good place to visit every couple of years for the memories

All the locals talk about the best hot dogs in town, so we tried them! The slaw is oh my gosh good, the fries, the hotdogs 5 stars, within 10 minutes it was very busy, that's the reason locals love it! The lovely lady taking the orders, to the guy slinging the dogs it is a hidden gem in Americus!

All the workers are I’m guessing College kids, the only worker that was helpful was named either Caylee or Kylie. Don’t know just what I picked up from other workers asking the girl for help. The girl that was taking my order was rude and just walked off to get my fries while the blonde sat and helped me figure out the menu and had great manners and made sure our food was perfect! Other employees should learn from this. Food was amazing, served and handled well. Service was great. Atmosphere was very quiet and friendly.

I tried Monroe's today. This was my very first time. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I tried a slaw, chili dog and a chili dog, both with onions and a side of fries. Everything was pretty good. The fries were fresh and hot, just the way I like them. The only thing I disliked was my coke was a little flat. I do recommend this place. Go check them out. I will be back. I also have a suggestion. For the to-go orders, it will be nice to have a plastic bag being the chili and grease go through the bag. Thank you.

a new experience their burgers were good, i should’ve gotten a hot dog for a better review… the hot dogs are well priced if i recall well. only thing i wasn’t anticipating was fries and drink being extra, normally there’s a combo option in these kinds of establishments
