Fish House

I had the mullet and it was DELICIOUSLY, FRESH and HOT and seasoned well. Just the way I like it. 10/23/23 I went back here again on yesterday. I had the mullet plate with tater tots, hush puppies and collard green. Everything was good and freshly cooked. I love the way they prepare your plate. The juice from the greens didn't run onto to any of my fried foods to cause them to be soggy. The prices are reasonable. The staff is nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place and I will be back.

I came to Americus from Florida and was googling somewhere to eat and came across the Fish House. I called and ordered a shrimp salad and it was delicious and I had enough shrimp to know I had some. Hats Off to ya!!! Very nice personality and friendly!

We are in town from Florida and found them on Google. Hands down best seafood I’ve ever had. We had the seafood platter that included, catfish, shrimp, oysters, deviled crab and 2 sides. I got the greens and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and you could actually taste the seafood vs being overly breaded. Can’t say enough great things about this little restaurant. We will be back everytime we’re in town!!

Outstanding service! We had catfish, fried to perfection. The hush puppies were great, fired okra was on point and the coleslaw was as good as I’ve had. The peel and eat shrimp were fresh and spiced just right. The waitress was busy but never missed checking on us. The price for the food was unbelievable! I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because of the rustic nature but at the same time….it’s the hole in the wall kinda place you don’t want to miss. If we are back in Americus it is a definite stop!

Our waitress was nice & so was Stacy who was another table waitress. She recommended a few things for me to try. My only gripe is there is was so many items that were out, but I do understand Covid has reeked havoc on everything. The food I did get was delicious
