Milano's Pizza

Been eating Milanos since I was a kid ( 40 years) stopped by for a slice at their Sommerville location and grabbed 2 slices with the ball and chain and it was just like it was 30-40 years ago. Old school New York style pizzeria. ** IF you ordera whole pie, fresh, they can't be beat** the slices are good, too.

The food was very good but the service & ambiance not so great. I like the Eads location better.

I’ve eaten at Milanos for many many years even when they had one in the Raleigh Springs mall in Memphis back in the 80s and I’ve eaten at the one in Bartlett and I’ve eaten at the one in well anyway I was not too impressed with this location, I don’t know if the people were tired, but they didn’t seem all too friendly and the restaurant wasn’t all that clean looking And the barbecue pizza ordered had a lot of barbecue sauce and it tasted OK but it only had about three or four pieces of barbecue on it so not impressed.

Ordered large extra cheese. Simple enough right? Well when I get I home I open the box to see this. Kroger frozen pizza has more cheese. I call to be told that they will make it better next time. You mean do it right? After 4 yrs of being a loyal customer, I’m done!!

I had a Texas size slice of pepperoni pizza. Great food at a great value. Today was my first visit to Milano's. Update 6/8/23 Today I ordered a lunch special (any 12" sandwich, chips and drink). I chose to try their Italian sandwich. The meal was quite tasty and filling.
