McKenzie's Bar B Que

I ordered and was charged for a BLT, as you can clearly see, I got the B, but not the L & T. The bread was soggy and greasy. The burger was raw, the fries were soggy, and extremely greasy. EVERY customer does not appreciate rare, medium rare, semi rare, beef. I am one of those. The staff is generally polite and I understand that the cashier, I don't think, cook the food so I have no complaints there.

A friend recommended this place so we tried it today . I had the small rib Plate with okra and macaroni and cheese . The ribs were tough and bland . The macaroni and cheese was watery and the okra was chewy . I was very disappointed with it . The staff was very nice and the mountain dew was good . Only good things I can say about this place. Regrettably we will not be back not recommend this place to anyone . The 1st picture is what I left on my plate..the okra was in a separate dish.

I have wanted to stop here and check this place out for awhile now. Finally we did and I'm very pleased that we did. It smells so good when you walk through the door. We ordered cheeseburgers and I add onion rings. The serve them dry and have a bar with everything you could want for your burger so you make them the way you like them and they have a nice hot pot of pinto beans that you can help yourself to. I highly recommend and I plan to return on my next trip to Huntsville and try some BBQ.

This is some of the worst bbq we have ever had. It was all so dry. The bbq fries cheese tasted gritty and almost made us sick. We ended up not eatting it. Very disappointed.

Bought dinner a 2 meat plate and chicken strip plate both so over cooked it is hard to eat. Mac n cheese cold and watery. For dinner for 2 at almost $40. Expect it to be at least edible. They need an option for NO stars
