We went there today for lunch. My wife had a 4 vegetable plate(Mac n cheese, black eyed peas, fried green tomatoes, and collards) and I had the catfish plate with fried corn and fried okra. All the veggies on my wife’s lunch were awesome. My favorite was the fried green tomatoes and Mac n cheese! My catfish was the best I’ve ever had! Well seasoned and fried to perfection, it was light and crunchy. We’d definitely go back. Be prepared to wait a little bit while your food is prepared, but it’s well worth the wait!!

If you are in a hurry call in your order. This is not a fast food place and the food is fresh. If you want some good soul food, this place will not disappoint you. You have to give them a try!

Bruh. You need to slow down and enjoy this grooving place. The food is home style and the family makes it with nothing but love. I had the catfish dinner with fried okra and southern green beans. You can ask for some hot sauce and you will be pleasantly surprised to get some killer Texas Pete sauce, friend. I would definitely go back to this place. Great job!

This is THE place to go!!! Everything, yes, everything I've gotten here has been sensational!! Cheeseburgers, catfish, chicken strips, meatloaf, hamburger steak and gravy, fried chicken, all the vegetables. Service is great but get there early cause when they run out they're out. The Obama drink as they call it is excellent too! Will make this a regular spot when in town. I could keep going about G's it's that great!

We had the best home cooking we have had in a long time. It was hot, fresh, not canned, and absolutely delicious. The owner and his staff were so friendly and welcoming also. If we are back in Huntsville, we will definitely go back. I had the perfectly fried pork chop, pintos, coleslaw, fried green tomatoes, and my husband had hamburger steak with gravy/onions, yams, and corn. Both of us had cornbread (tasted like my mother’s), tomato, onion, and iced tea.
