Island Jerk

The Stew Chicken is amazing, the flavor the texture. It’s the perfect blend. The jerk chicken is also great. I’m looking forward to also trying the curry chicken. Great customer service and it hit every time for me. They don’t miss at all. Check them out.

(Please excuse the bad picture of my LG Goat Curry. I ate it outside and the lighting was not good. You can get the gist how much food you get though!) This place is amazing! Some of the best food I've had locally in a while. This is a no frills kinda restaurant. The menu is small and not complicated. For a few dollars extra you can get a large and it's LARGE! I almost dropped my box it was so heavy. It's definitely enough for two meals. I got the LG Goat Curry. It was so delicious. I can't say enough how good everything tasted. This restaurant is more of a takeout restaurant but they do have a few tables and chairs if you wanna eat there. Though when we went, it was bumping in there! What I learned for next time was to just call in my order ahead of time. (not that it took very long to get our order but everyone else was doing it. They obviously were getting good business and I definitely know why!) Service was good also. The owner was super nice. Everything is priced well for the amazing food you get. Can't wait to come back and try the oxtails!

The food is so good!! My college friends and I came for food and the worker, who I assume is the owner, kept conversation w us and gave us free beef patties????. So nice! We’ll definitely be back again. The smoothie place on the outside was great too!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Island Jerk, a Jamaican culinary gem that left me craving for more. I order the red snapper fried fish plate, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The perfectly prepared red snapper fish (with the head on) was impeccably cooked, boasting a tender and flaky texture that melted in my mouth. The seasoning was a symphony of Jamaican spices, striking a harmonious balance between heat and savory notes. The plantains, caramelized to perfection, added a delightful touch of sweetness and a hint of tropical indulgence. And let's not forget the cabbage and rice and peas, excellent.

Had the Curry Goat! Absolutely amazing! Plate was heavy with curry goat, coconut rice, plantain, and some sort of cabbage dish. All very delicious and cooked to perfection! Service was outstanding. Thank you Omar! I will be back again soon!
