Edit 12/11/23: I just wasted my time and fuel driving from Romulus to Detroit to find out you are now closed Mondays. Your google local listing, which the entire freaking world uses for info about your company, says you are open Mondays until 4pm. If you don't care enough to change your hours online, you must not care much anymore. Hours of operation are a "fundamental". If you don't care about those it's doubtful you care about non-fundamentals. This is not how you successfully win customers or keep them. Further edit 12/11/23: Nevermind, I changed them for you. See how easy. Aren't your customers worth 60 seconds. That's what it took. They have done Supreme proud while putting their own expertise into play. They made my dad who's 81 very happy when I was able to bring him the same bread he used to eat 50 years ago as a kid from Supreme. I'll be back.

I love purchasing cakes from this bakery! I’ve tried so many bakeries throughout southwest Detroit and this has met my expectations. I’ve been a consistent customer to La Rosa for years and I’d continue. Thank you wonderful ladies for all the hard work you put into making the best pastries.

If I could give zero stars I would. The experience here was absolutely horrible. I should have turned and walked away when I saw a bee land on the donut and she killed the bee in the case and just grabbed a piece of paper to remove it and kept taking my order!! Do not use this bakery save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I went to get a cake from here and was told that the vanilla buttercream cake that I wanted they had on display wasn’t as fresh but was reassured that the cake that was half chocolate and half vanilla was fresh. When I got in the car on my way home against my better judgment I should have just returned to the store with the entire cake due to the cake had started to separate apart. I thought maybe because it was in the refrigerator but no the cake had actually dried out at the point of contact. When I took the cake knife to cut the cake it was like cutting through a loaf of bread that had sat out and was harden. People were complaining that the cake was stale and couldn’t believe that anyone could sale anything like this. I salvaged what I could and I called letting the bakery know what had happened and the lady asked if I could return the unused portion. I didn’t feel the necessity to dig through the garage to retrieve the cake the people threw away as if it wasn’t already embarrassing enough bringing it in for the party. I spoke with the owner that suggested for future reference DONT cut the cake from the refrigerator right away wait about 30-40 minutes before allowing the cake to become room temperature. I arrived at work at 10:30 at night and we cut the cake at 11:15 so that was a 45 min wait and the cake was still stale. So I ask the lady couldn’t they make another cake not one that’s in the display but a small fresh cake because the birthday lady wasn’t able to enjoy her cake. I was told the only thing they were offering was 15 dollars refund because of the amount of cake I returned! So from my experience here I would never suggest this place to anyone nor would I get donuts from here either. Not worth driving 40 mins for!
