La Hacienda Restaurant Bar & Grill

Stopped at LaHacienda Restaurant in Folsom for 1st time. A few patrons scattered about. Only 1 server waiting tables. By looking around room, some patrons were only there to indulge in ADULT BEVERAGES!!! Salsa very HOT !! I had the chicken/beef nachos. My husband had the La Hacienda plate. Some of my nachos were soo spicy hot they burnt back of my mouth. The nachos serving size was HUGE!! Too bad they weren't good! My husband's cheese enchiladas...the cheese was hard...not melted at all! The taco ???? had absolutely no taste at all. We wasted the opportunity for a good meal stopping here. Disappointing!!

The food here is great. I ask for barbacoa quesadilla which isn't shown on the menu but they always do it for me and it's delicious. Tried many other dishes and they're always great. I order togo and it's always fresh. Service is always friendly and efficient.

I started with the tortilla soup and thought it was good. In fact I thought they had knocked it over the fence. My next bite was warm and not hot. It took five minutes to get someone to take it back to be warmed and it still wasn’t hot enough. I didn’t order anything else.

First time trying the steak chimichanga and it was delicious. Carne asada plate was very tasty and drinks were awesome, the mango frozen margarita and horchata. Service was fast and nice. The only thing that I would like to improve is the cleaning but other than that our experience was very pleasant.

Food & service was great and prices very reasonable. Only thing I could recommend for improvement would be cleanliness of the windows & tables but I can be picky when it comes to restaurants. We will return! Update: Since our first visit, the food and service has been great! I would recommend this restaurant especially if Carlos is serving you!
