Kim's Diner

Think of a retro 50's diner with good quality burgers and sandwiches and excellent service and atmosphere. 1/3 pound juicy burgers, hand dipped onion rings and freshly cut fries. Great milkshake as well. First time here but it won't be our last. Next time you're in Waco make sure you get away from the tourist dining options and try Kim's. You want me disappointed.

If you want a good lean burger with a milkshake, then this is the place. I read a few of the reviews, and I think some people just like to complain. Our service was the best the food came out hot and fast. The hand-cut fries were just like I remembered as a kid. I ordered a cheeseburger, and the ground beef, in my opinion, is nice and lean, not greasy at all. My husband had a patty melt, and the rye bread and onions were grilled to perfection. The decor and atmosphere are reminiscent of the old days, and I appreciate that the owner had a lot of pictures. The music was nice too. Very good experience. I'll definitely keep coming back for the ice cream milkshake ????. Thanks again

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. My wife got a salad and onion rings, and we got fried pickles for an appetizer. The cheeseburger was okay at best, the salad had more than one piece of egg shell in it (it had hard boiled eggs), and you could barely taste the pickles in the fried pickles. The best part of the meal was the fries and onion rings. They do carry an assortment of Dublin sodas and the 50's retro decor could be a lot better. So all and all, it was okay but we probably won't return.

The food was hot and fresh. The presentation reminded me of a good homestyle breakfast. The waitress, Liz, simply understood the assignment, and the cooks got my order on point!!! I found a jewel in the heart of Waco breakfast hot spots. This place left me full and happy.

One of my favorite places to eat when I come down to Waco. Great 50s atmosphere, terrific food and prices are reasonable. The chicken strips are massive, the patty melt is excellent.
