Dam built and dedicated in 1968. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District continues to operate and maintain the dam and lake. Beautiful place to visit and recreate.

A nice little spot off the road. Lots of shade and wasn't very busy when we came out. The area is fairly clean but the Visitor Center is closed on the weekends (no bathrooms?). We tried some fishing here and it wasn't half bad. Will definitely be coming back.
