It's not my type of cuisine. We tried something new. It was edible, not magnificent, but not bad either! The employees are friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. It's like a little mom/pop restaurant. Tidy and clean small if you blink, you'll miss it. They give nice size portions for the price, so it's a very affordable night out.
We were planning on coming to this place for a while, as we're new to the area. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. A very humble and friendly establishment. The food was AWESOME and the price more than affordable! My wife lived in Seattle and she said that it brought her memories of it, thanks to the flavor and quality of the food and the customer service we received. Absolutely, we will be back!!!
I was in the mood for Mexican and stopped at this restaurant. I called in my order of the shrimp fajitas. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a kitchen like restaurant. The lady took my name and my food was ready. I paid and left. When I ate the food was very tasty. It was very flavorful. My only wish was that there were flour tortillas instead of corn. All in all I had a good experience.
Maizteca corn tortillas heated perfectly on the comal, filled with tender meat, and a generous portion of onion and cilantro. I ordered one of every taco, the littlest taquito ordered pork tacos with rice and beans, and my wife had the pork nachos. There wasn’t a need for the double tortilla as the protein was tender and moist, but not juicy. Tacos were accompanied by a handful of tortillas and lime wedges and were covered in fresh onion and bright cilantro (Did You Know cilantro is said to aid in digestion, which is part of the reason it’s used as a “garnish”?). Don’t forget to grab a Jarritos or homemade horchata before you go!
Cute mom and pop Mexican restaurant. Has a handful of tables and some counter bar seating. Fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. We ordered the guacamole, enchiladas, pastor tacos, and fried plantains. The enchiladas (served with rice and beans) and tacos were the highlight, full of flavor and nicely seasoned. The guacamole was alright, served with fresh tortilla chips, and the plantains were hot and crisp and only lightly salted. Tacos are small, about 3-4 inch diameter, but tasty and reasonably priced.
