Francesco's Italian Restaurant

First of all, our server was terrific! Her name was Yami and she made us feel so so so at home here. Fantastic service! The food was more bland than I’m accustomed to, though it still had a good flavor. The dim lighting, painted murals of Italy, and service overcame anything else -As well as complimentary garlic knots!

Rip off now. Now when you order the entree,cheese raviolis, you only get 3 raviolis. The baking dish comes out half full. You get a small salad, some bread and 3 cheese raviolis for $14.00. The meatballs are store bought, very bland, no garlic or oregano, terrible. The Italian sausage has no flavor, bland....nasty taste. The pizzas are awful. This place is fired! Spanish people running an Italian restaurant, food is not authentic. Embarrassing.

The best Italian that we’ve had since moving to the Cullman, AL area! Even though it’s a little drive from Cullman, it’s worth it. My husband and I went on our first visit and everything we had was delicious. The service was great. They bring you warm bread (which some other Italian restaurants now charge a ridiculous price for). We enjoyed it so much that we went back a week later bringing our college age son and his girlfriend. We each ordered something different. Again, everything was delicious! Our son came up from Birmingham and thought it was worth the drive. The portions are good and prices reasonable. It’s not fancy or dressy but I prefer casual dining. We will definitely be regulars!

Great food, nice staff, gets quite busy on a Friday and Sunday, may have to wait a bit for your food, but well worth it. We dined there a few Sundays now. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed a hot tea, it was good, not bitter.

By far my favorite pizza in Decatur! The build your own pizza is my favorite as well as the meatballs. The garlic knots are bangin' here, and they are gone far too soon every year at the restaurant anniversary. It's all good on the menu from the steak to the Pasta Sampler and the pizza mentioned earlier. You won't be sorry if you make this place for dinner!
