El Taco

I live in Guadalajara Mexico half the year. FRIDAY nights me and the wife do date nights. I have seen this restaurant for the past year and decided to try it. Big mistake the restaurant is beautiful the staff is wonderful. The only thing I can say that was good was the water and the tortilla chips. I seldom ever give a restaurant a bad review. I travel all over the world and love eating in new places. My wife ordered tortilla soup it had one piece of chicken in it. I WENT WITH SOMETHING SAFE LOL CHICKEN QUESDILLA WITH BEANS AND RICE. This restaurant was packed which only made me think that these people if they ate real Mexican food would lose their minds. My QUESDILLA had no taste and the beans and rice left me sad they tasted so bad. The house margaritas were the worse things I have ever drank before in my life. They really need to send their cooks to Mexico to learn how to cook. I had to go to the liquor store to buy a bottle of tequila to get rid of the taste.

This was a very good place. It was recommended to me and did not disappoint. I hade the pina maya. Pineapple stuffed with shrimp and veggies. It was very good. We did not get any tortilla’s with it, I didn’t mind too much as I didn’t really want any but I think they are supposed to come with some. Not a big deal though. The margarita was pretty good. I got the frozen. Great place to eat and have a drink.

Been here twice while traveling from NC to Dallas and both times our food was delicious and service was great! They give good sized portions and it's super fresh!

The food was very authentic. Service was great. The only negative would be they keep it very cold in the restaurant.

The food and the service was amazing.. I was visiting for work and this was the only restaurant that was open till 10pm, but it was the best choice in the trip. I had the fish and the mushroom they grilled well and seasoned so good.
