Doug's Hot Dog Van

I visited today for the first time. The service was very quick which is great. I ordered a meatball sub nachos and cheese a kielbasa and a Italian sausage both with onions and peppers. The food was yummy for the price. I was a little disappointed with the chili cheese nachos it was equivalent of a medium salsa with a little bit of hamburger meat in it. I was expecting real chili. It was tasty but wasn't what I had thought it would be. I will be back and try again. But I definitely won't be ordering the chili. The cheese that was on the meatball sub was like a Velveeta nacho cheese I thought maybe they'd use mozzarella. But other than those two things it was good.

I absolutely love this place! I grew up next door to the gas station in the white Apartment building so everyday when coming home from school my mom would give me money to grab a hot dog. As an adult and a father I bring my kids here every so often since we live in Keene. Great food and decent prices and chucks a good guy. If you’ve never gone I highly suggest you do at least once in your life. My favorite is nachos with chilli and extra cheese and hot dogs with mustard cheese and bacon bits. I hope you enjoy as much as I have over the years!

Doug's has been a landmark in the community for more than forty years. The food's delicious and the prices are excellent. The chili-cheese nachos have been a comfort food staple of mine since I was a young; many, many years ago ????

Doug's Hot Dog Van is a local landmark, and for good reason. The steamed hot dogs are tasty and consistently satisfying. That said, I wish they offered a grilled option for a bit more variety. The food is cash-only, so be sure to come prepared. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick bite with a nostalgic feel.

Doug’s dogs is a great place to get something quick. I would definitely recommend stopping and trying it. They have more than hot dogs.
