Dolphin Tail Island

Beautiful little island for family time!

Loved it! tough i think the people previous to us made a ritual because there was a fire, dead bird on a stick and some crazy stuff hanging from one of the trees but other than that, amazing!

Hurricane took alot out but it was a very nice place to kayak too.

Sadly, I have to report after years and years of camping on this island it no longer exists as it once did above sea level with only a small fraction of land remaining on the west end. Hopefully one day they will re-dredge and back fill what has been lost and restore this wonderful location to what it once was.

I had a great over night camping experience here but my family did not only because there was rats running around the island what did my family expect. Still a great little island
