Dale's Burger Shack

Traveling through the area and stopped here for lunch. After tasting the food, we realized how good it was; so we had to snap a picture and leave a review. It's just a burger shack with a few tables, but it's worth the stop. Within the hour we were there, they had a steady flow of to-go orders. The fries were great, but I recommend a small as they have big portions. Good price, great food.

Oh my goodness! Had the big bacon cheese burger and it was fantastic. Added an egg, but it did not need it. Great, fresh, locally raised beef. You could tell the difference. Local bacon, too. Also had the milkshake. Both were pricey but worth it. Not much seating, so come early or take it to go!

Just wanted to come on here and say as someone who has worked in the restaurant and food industry I don’t think I’ve ever had such a bad customer service experience. I think some people don’t belong up front greeting or taking orders, for instance the kid with the mouth piercings he just was not very personable or nice. I completely understand not having good days but this wasn’t that. Not to mention after our order was taken he went to the back to help with food and was wearing just a hat that could not prevent any type of hair getting in food, he has longer shaggy hair and could easily be put in a low ponytail or a hair net.. after that he came back up to wipe the tables with windex and I thought that was an odd choice but what I noticed mainly was once he went back to work on food he didn’t wash his hands after dealing with chemicals… even if you have gloves on the best way to keep your hands clean is to just wash them. Anyway not to go on a major rant about maintaining health dept standards, the food was good. Really greasy but that comes with what we had ordered. I really wanted to enjoy this food and supporting locally owned businesses but just the basic standards of some things just lowered my expectations. I just hope some slight changes could be made for the best.

Awesome place to grab a burger. Burger and fries looked and tasted great. Also order onion rings and they were amazing as well.
