Coastal Sands Inn

Not worth it. Walked into our hotel room and sand and dirt all over the floor. Huge hole in the wall where you can see all the piping and nothing to cover it. Bathroom towels were dirty and used. Shower was difficult to use, but once you had the hang of it, it was nice. The place promises two queen beds and instead were full beds and was a little cramped. Staff charged us an extra $50 for no reason and refused to give us any kind of receipt. Fortunately, this place is close to lots of nice restaurants, cafe, and especially the boardwalk. Overall, save your money.

Honestly the one of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. My husband and I travel to wildwood frequently and have stayed many places. The only good thing about Coastal Sands was the television (it was new and a decent size). The room smelled of mold and had black mold growing on the bathroom ceiling, the bathroom sink was clogged, the toilet was leaking slowly on the floor & there was no blanket on the bed. Seriously, just a top sheet and NO BLANKET!. Thankfully when we got back to the room late, we had an extra blanket in the car. Fortunately the AC was not efficient and it stayed pretty warm and sticky the whole night So only having a small blanket wasn’t a huge deal. There was nowhere to put clothes or a suitcase except on the dirty tile floor. There was a bar over the bed to hang clothes but no hangers. There was a weird sliding barn door that was supposed to be the closure between the bathroom and bed but it wasn’t actually big enough to cover the doorway so whoever was in the bed could see whoever was on the toilet. Being that there was no place else to sit in the room, we had to get comfortable with that exposure. There were no side tables to put anything on beside the bed like a phone or drink of water. The icing on the cake was to have a women knock on the door at 9:30AM to see if we left yet and then to have the front desk call at 10:00 on the dot to let us know it was check out time. I honestly can’t believe that they have a 3.8 rating overall. We were in the ground floor king / handicapped accessible room. Maybe the other rooms are better but I’d be surprised.

My stay here was great. Front desk was warm and welcoming, they made sure I got a room to stay even though I got there after 12 midnight. The bathroom was beautiful and I felt like family there. Definitely staying there again. My review is late but 7/17/23 on Monday was my stay. Thank you guys for making my experience worth while.

It was nice place, but only one thing that make me disappointed, our room was right at the balcony side and other people(around 6-7 people) was gathering there until 2am and blocking my room door. They were so loud. Can not believe they can do that since they know i have a baby, and they was still talking very loud after i let them know to lower their voice.

I booked the 2 bedroom apartment at this property and was extremely disappointed. The room was not clean at all. The bed sheets had stains all over them as well as the extra comforter in the drawers. The floors were extremely dirty. We had to wear sandals the whole time or our feet were black. The shower was nice but confusing. The handles to the shower kept falling off every time we tried to use it. The apartment was smaller then the pictures made it look. The parking at this spot was horrendous. Despite all the issues though the front desk lady was extremely friendly.I would not recommend a stay here. About 2 blocks to the beach/boardwalk which was the only good thing. Just sucked because it’s located towards the end of the boardwalk near the convention center. Decently far walk to the rides and entertainment on the boardwalk.
