Ciro's Pizza & Subs

Passing through at lunch time. Pizza was decent. Decent crust, sauce had good flavor, generous toppings. I don't drink a lot of soft drinks so I typically order water. They charge $1 for a cup of water! REALLY?! I didn't realize water was such a precious resource in Independence, VA. This is the first time ever I've been charged for water anywhere.

Absolutely love this place! My family & I come here every time we’re in VA. I was nervous to try the fettuccini alfredo because I’m usually really picky about it, but it’s excellent!!! So glad I ended up trying it. The pizza is amazing, garlic knots are awesome. Staff is always SO NICE. Will be back again soon.

It was alright, the atmosphere honestly was not that fantastic, no music, no tv on or anything to kill the dead air so at times its awkward. I got a chicken pizza, the toppings where pretty good. The crust was cooked well but it wasn't seasoned so it was pretty bland and the sauce was a bit lacking. They give you foam plates and plastic tableware for some dishes that definitely need something more substantial. If I were to come back I would probably just get take out.

Great food, great prices and service, best spaghetti and lasagna ever and try the garlic knots(douby bread), fantastic. Ordered the XXL "The Works" pizza and absolutely the best pizza ever. Had never tried their hamburgers, ordered the 1/4 lb burger special with fries and a drink and was not disappointed, one of the best around, highly recommend.

Best pizza in Virginia! Great customer service. Huge portions, easily 2 meals on pasta. Love this family owned restaurant!
